In Christmas We Trust by Honeysmack by DyLABs

The pattern is from Melbourne's Honeysmack ( http://soundcloud.com/honeysmack )

You can grab the pattern data from here

The pattern can then be programmed into your tb303 or x0x box to
create a new track.
The pattern could be programmed into your vst such as ABL or Phoscoyn
to create a new track.
Transcribe the pattern to midi and send it to your favourite synth to
create a new track.
Grab the audio file and rework the audio into a new track

Then post your finished track or jam into the acid pattern group
http://soundcloud.com/groups/the-acid-question

You can grab this empty pattern sheet from here

Can someone explain what "6B" and the dots/lines in the last row mean?

dyLAB said...

6B is where the pattern is stored on the tb303

The filled circle is a note - 1/16th, the empty circle is a tied note and the dash is a rest.

In addition to the music aspect your post inspired me to redesign the pattern sheet to make it more generic, more drum machine:

I have a 2 x3 PDF if you want one.

Now I have to work on the actual music.

Thank you for the Roland TB303 data entry (blank) sheet for note entries, I hope I said that right, see link above ss
