this is another new acid track - this is a work in progress - trying to work multiple 303 lines and moving snare and toms around a big central kick, i think it might need another breakdown and need additional percussion to accentuate the cutoff rise on the 303 - enjoy

i have picked up a yamaha tx7 the box version of the dx7 synth
looking forward to entering a new world of FM synthesis
also picked up a Roland D-110 sound module and a yamaha dd-5 drum module

Acid Chopper - work in progress
following on from the cut up cosm bassline technique this is the same technique used on a tb303 bassline
about 10 acid lines from the machine all different settings then cut in live and bussed
then the bus is eq'd and automated a lot
the noise is from the sh101 - warm pad noise rising and falling

technique I picked up today - cosmism
i was watching some of tom cosm's videos today and came across this one on glitchy basslines http://www.vimeo.com/1682698 and decided to give it a bash
this is a short track put together using that technique and then digging into the glitchy bits and finding nice loops to extend out
all done in ableton live with operator for synth, drums and percussion

haven't really felt like writing tunes so just been jamming out with the gear and tweaking away, added the roland sh101 to the mix with this jam, still all pretty much dry , a little adjustment of levels and eq in live and some ghetto mastering
