I really like the clean design of the site and the player and the focus on the quality of file formats
I have to upload aif or wav files of the tracks and they are then encoded on the site when you chose download options

things have progressed a bit further
well despite the heat and laptop fan going mental I have pushed this a bit further
now has some basic arrangement and the beginnings of what might be a track
separated out the elements and built them up also added hats to add some percussive elements to the resonated sound

bass drum 16 bars
4 tr808 samples and 1 tr909 sample
some saturation, some resonators, some freezing reverb and a 40 degree day
makes this 16 bar preview
someone might ask where the tb303 is
i'd answer its not on this one yet.. maybe it wont be
this one sounds dirty as fuck on laptop speakers but somewhat cleaner on decent speakers

deep fishing
first one for 2009, roland tb303 meets the boss os-2 distortion and ovrdrive pedal
wanted to do something that sounded deep and underwater like and ended up with the bassline at the start
that was all midi in live, so tried to do a similar pattern on the tb303 but with a bit more movement, accents and slides and the such, then ran the whole thing through the os-2 to get that overdriven acid sound..
the drums are a bit basic at present , first draft and all also the ride sounds a bit loud on the laptop speakers
but enjoy this little acid number
has plenty of sub movement too

old school acid style loops from the tb303 and also the weirdness start from tb303 metronome, which i just discovered, some cassette recorded tr808 samples reworked as a drum rack and effected some what, a touch of reverb and away it goes
